Product Catalog & Quotes

Browse the product catalog and generate price quotes. The catalog's name in your navigation menu depends on how your deployment is configured — it may say "Models," "Machines," or something specific to your business — but the workflow below is the same regardless of label.

Tips

If you don't see a catalog link in your sidebar at all, your administrator hasn't configured this feature for your deployment — see Settings if you're an admin.

Browsing the Catalog

Open the catalog from the sidebar. You'll see a searchable, sortable list with each item's Title, Model Number, and Price. Click the magnifying-glass icon on any row to view its details.

Viewing an Item and Selecting Options

The detail page shows the item's photo (or a placeholder icon if none is set), its subtitle, description, and base price. If the item has configurable options, they appear below:

  • Checkboxes — simple add-on options with their own price. Check any you want.
  • Dropdowns — "choose one" option groups, where each choice may add its own price.

As you check boxes or choose from dropdowns, the running total at the bottom of the page updates to reflect your selections.

Creating a Quote

  1. With your options selected, click Create Quote.
  2. In the Quote Options dialog, add any notes you'd like included on the quote.
  3. Click View Quote.

This immediately downloads a PDF quote and saves it to your Quote History. The PDF includes the item, your selected options, your notes, and the total price.

Warning

The price shown next to the item name near the top of the quote PDF may not include your selected options — it can show just the base price. The Total line at the bottom of the PDF, and the total saved in your Quote History, are correct. If this matters for a customer-facing quote, double-check the bottom total rather than the header figure.

Quote History

Go to Quotes to see every quote you've generated: quote number, item, total price, your notes, and the date. Click the download icon on any row to get that quote's PDF again. You'll only ever see your own quotes here.
