Order Pads
An Order Pad is your cart for ordering parts. You always have exactly one active ("current") Order Pad; submitting it starts a new, empty one automatically.
Your Current Order Pad
Open Order Pads from the sidebar, or click the clipboard icon in the top navigation bar to see a quick summary of what's currently in your cart from anywhere in the site.
The Current Order Pad tab shows a read-only summary — description, parts, quantities, and total. Click View/Send to open the full details page, where you can:
- Edit the quantity of any line item and save it.
- Delete a line item.
- Click Send to Order Dept to submit the order.
Submitting an Order
- From your current Order Pad's details page, click Send to Order Dept.
- Enter a Delivery Method and PO Number if you have them.
- Add any optional notes.
- Click Send.
Submitting emails the full order — with pricing and quantities — to the order department, logs the submission to your order's history, and starts a fresh, empty Order Pad for you.
Tips
None of the fields in the Send Order dialog are required — you can submit an order with no delivery method or PO number filled in. Fill in what you have; you can send updated details later by asking your administrator to use Send Updated Order Email if something changes after submission.
Order Pad History
Switch to the Order Pad History tab to see every order you've previously submitted, each with its delivery method, PO number, status history, and full line-item breakdown. Use the search box to filter by order number or part number.
Each historical order has an Add to Current button, which copies its parts into your current Order Pad — useful for reordering the same set of parts.
Tips
Add to Current only adds parts that aren't already in your current cart — if a part is already there, its quantity won't be increased automatically. Check quantities after using this.
