Announcements
Announcements let you push a message to dealers, either everyone or a targeted set of people and User Groups. Recipients see announcements in the Dealer Portal and can optionally be notified by email.

Creating an Announcement
- Go to Administration → Announcements and click Add Announcement.
- Enter a Subject and write your Message.
- Set Show On / Expire On dates if the announcement shouldn't be visible immediately or should expire automatically.
- Under Send To, switch between the People and Groups tabs and check who should receive it. Use Select All / Select None to speed up broad targeting.
- Click Save.
An announcement is visible to anyone listed individually or anyone belonging to a targeted User Group.
Emailing an Announcement
Saving an announcement does not automatically email it. To notify recipients by email:
- Open the announcement's Update page.
- Click Email Announcement.
- Confirm the prompt.
The email goes out to every targeted person and every member of every targeted group, deduplicated. An announcement can't be emailed until it has a Subject and at least one recipient.
Tracking Reads
On the announcement's Update page, the People tab shows a Read timestamp next to anyone who has viewed the announcement in the Dealer Portal. There's no separate reporting screen for this — check the People tab on the announcement itself.
Editing and Deleting
Open the announcement to change its subject, message, dates, or targeting, and save. To remove an announcement, use the delete button on the list — this is a soft delete, so the record is no longer shown but isn't permanently erased.
